FAQ for Hotel Leaders

What Hotel Leaders Need to Know Before Starting.

The practical questions to answer before you decide where HVT could help.

Discuss your hotel’s workflow
Where should our hotel start?

Start with one workflow your team wants to make easier. It might be a high volume of guest questions, a service request that gets passed between departments, an ordering opportunity, or room findings that are hard to document. We will look at what happens today and help you identify a practical first step.

Will HVT add another task for my hotel team?

The goal is to take pressure out of repeated work, not create another inbox. Before launch, HVT and the hotel agree on what the product handles and what remains with staff. Your team still provides the service, handles exceptions, and takes over whenever a guest needs a person.

What does HVT handle, and when does a team member step in?

HVT handles the agreed routine part of the workflow: for example, answering a common question, collecting a request, recording a room finding, or starting the next step. Your hotel keeps control of fulfillment, urgent or sensitive issues, and the moments where personal judgment matters.

How much work is required from the hotel to launch?

Your team helps define the selected workflow: the service details, hours, policies, contacts, and when a request should go to a person. HVT then maps that information into the agreed setup. We keep the launch focused on the workflow you chose, rather than asking the hotel to redesign everything at once.

How will we know whether it is working?

Before launch, agree on the change you want to see. Depending on the workflow, that may be fewer repeated calls, more completed requests, less team pressure, clearer charge recovery, or feedback from guests and employees. We will agree which hotel records and HVT activity to review.

Can we start with one workflow and expand later?

Yes. You can begin with one hotel and one clearly defined operating need. Once your team has seen how that workflow fits, you can decide whether another workflow is worth adding.

What happens after launch?

You will have a clear HVT contact for product support after launch. As service details or workflows change, your hotel can request adjustments. The launch scope also sets out how support, review, and new-team-member onboarding will work for your property.

How are the starting scope and price determined?

Pricing starts with your property, room count, first workflow, and product scope. Core products are priced based on the number of guest rooms at the property. Before you decide, we will show the monthly price for your selected scope and any applicable one-time setup or integration cost. You can ask for an estimate for one workflow at one hotel.
